As usual I will be contacting acts please do not offer
Andy Dodds, Hayley Ellis, Tom Tolson, Sam Brady, Shoey Mk 2, Liam, Sean F as MC aboard.

Where is it? St. Martins House
Stanley Rd, Bootle, L20 3LG
0151 922 9561

http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x ... 2&z=0&ar=Y

Its not an easy pub to spot from the road as its set back on a huge pavemement in the middle of two tower office blocks and doesnt stand out as a traditional pub. Theres a big sandwhich bar close by and its opposite an bomb site type car park. The nearest train is Bootle Oriel road and a 6 min walk. Its the Liverpool City side of the new Magistrates courts and a massive pub (The Merton I think?)
Remember its 6 30 start

You can park your car round the back of the pub accessed by going down or indeed up St Albans Rd, look for a sign that says St Martins House car park and just go in. Park and travel up the ginnel on the left you cant enter the pub through the back.

Is it the same Sam Brady who used to be the T.V. critic for Teletext? I miss that now analogue's closed down. Oh, yeah. I'm still up for the 4th, Ben

Ben!

I need to go on early-ish tonight: playing footy at 9.

Hope that causes few problems.

Regards,

Liam Bolton

I enjoyed the whole thing John & everyone who was on, good atmosphere, and managed to squeak out a poor mans version of the 'window cleaner'. It needs a bit of tweaking but am chuffed I tried it out.
really good.

Cheers

Tom

Hi Coo commentary - as I recall its important that you put the words down in one movement or is that some kind of japanese calligraphy?

Hayley Ellis
White teeth, flashing hands
ramped up Mancs accent
Went down well!

Image

Image

Liam
Hullo written wrist attached to a body
on its way to play football
What happens when your eyesight fails?
Image

Tom Tolson
Honest as Sunderland malt vinegar
melting the salt on the chips
Before they were pissed over by life... anyway.

Image

Doddy
Newspaper headline gags flutter down (flutter, flutter)
Forcing us to visualise people we will never meet
All lost on the Sun readers.
Image

Shoey
Boom Boom bang bang
Firework comedy, all topped off with unhygenic
Cunning Linctus with the MUCK best microphone

Image

Sam Brady
Gently does it with the
noisy old drunks seeing an easy heckle target
Wrong
Image

Sean Finn
Bus obsessed geography tutorials
His stage, his time
look at his hand gesture for evidence

I spent yesterday checking and there are only 17 people in the UK who know what rotoscoping means - and I'm not one of them. The camera is blameless, dont shoot the messenger, its me who uses 'poster edges' in photoshop cos is gives a punchier cartoon effect to a subject which is frankly well suited to that approach. There is something about Liams complexion which is already Toytownish/Trumptonesque which ramps up the effect so he looks like a vents doll which is probably considered erotic in Bootle.

I intend to put haiku poems to each shot as commentary but fell at the first gate when I realised I didnt know how to spell haiku. Perhaps I could do one or two and then others could join in?

I just noticed the whole undercard dressed in black except the headliner - this reflects the new natural laws where ordered patterns emerge only to let in some chaos towards the end.

I was all shitted up not knowing how to spell Haiku
But it turns out I did.
Bogger.

Im probably simplifying 10000 years of Japanese culture but this Haiku thing seems to be structured like a gag, the first two lines are the set up and the third the rug pulling punch?

Put the haiku to the photos above allowing myself two mins per poem.

Syllabically, your haikus are up the wall, Ben. Absolutely up the fucking wall.

They're supposed to go: first line 5 syllables, middle line 7 syllables, last line 5 syllables.

I can't tell you how much face you've lost. I just... it's... *turns back on Ben*

Liam I dont know if you can hear me with your back turned and all.
First of all its no good showing off with your haiku knowledge, gained with your magical google power - if I had access to the internet I could do that.
If only I knew what a slybubble was, (looks at dictionary) oh thats a piece of cake,(looks at dictionary) no thats a slice.
However, there is a great deal of debate about the form of English haiku and few agree that the3-line, 5-7-5 syllable form is the only acceptable form. Twist in the wind Liam.

What then Muckers is the form of a haiku?
Brevity: one to three lines totaling 17 syllables or less; the average length of published English-language haiku is about 13 syllables. Some suggest that a better measure of brevity is that when read aloud, a haiku can be completed in one breath. Asthmatics and the dead can f*** right off.

So by Liams restrictive rules:
Oh Old Man (5)
face lost in post (7)
Blame Royal Mail (5)

Fling these Liam sillybubble rules out, run syballically symbollockly naked and

Old Man loses face in post
Careless Royal Mail
Hey Who looks at old men anyway?
Mortuary attendants

Lets create a MUCK haiku form and put Liam in his anally retentive neo conservative place. Go for it, dont be a passive reader, commit.
