Folks, I'm not around now at all under Edinburgh and then September. Anyone around for this meeting? Anyone happy to run it?

Cheers
John

Brief notes on Muck meet 26th july 2010-07-27

MUCKS RHYL GIG generally went well, appreciative landlady and audience. An older crowd not used to alternative comedy but happy enough with the gig, Its thought the landlady would like to try us for a few more shows to see how it develops as she wanted larger nos – albeit over 70 punters were in.

POSSIBLE NEW VENUE. Doddy has found a venue that may have MUCK potential. He was unclear who he spoke to in the pub or what he said but has high hopes. Lynne to follow up using another set of tactics

CAT FIDDLE/STAMPS – see relevant threads

EDINBURGH
Jonny Glennon keen that all involved in MUCK in Edinburgh check the schedule to ensure he has captured the details correctly so ensuring we put on the best shows possible. Nick is presently created a couple of placard posters to entice punters in our Nidry St shows and some flyers and venue posters.

WEBSITE
It was thought the website should move to a situation where it allows open access a la Mancs forum but posting only for members

FIFTH ANNIVERSARY
Discussion around how to celebrate this and how to use press releases to gain new members. The concept of MUCK ON TOUR was discussed and awaits a sponsor and catalyst person.

Factual point- there were about 30 in at Rhyl, rather than 70- before anyone explodes with excitement.
